Location. The 19th century Italianate town home, the Dresser Palmer House, is located in Savannah, Ga. Built in 1876, the inn is tucked within the nation's largest urban Historic Landmark District, and is one block from Forsyth Park. Hotel Features. Live Oak trees draped with Spanish moss lead the way to wicker rockers on the inn's front verandah. The front door is framed in original cranberry glass transom. The inn's grand parlor boasts 12 foot ceilings covered with original plaster medallions and outlined in crown molding. The dining room and morning room host daily gourmet breakfasts. Charming reception sites hold up to 80 guests.
Guestrooms. Antique furnishings grace each period style guestroom at the inn, and beds offer triple sheeting, duvets and numerous pillows. Wireless Internet access is complimentary. Take I 95 South to Exit 99A. Take I 16 East to Savannah. Take the Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard exit. Continue through light. Turn right on Abercorn. Make the next left between the two yellow buildings. The hotel entrance is located on the left.
